Firm on the fee. Easy to deal with.

gilet anchors on the value of your work and gives your client options instead of a flat no. No bluffing, no made-up rival offers.

Love the treatment. Budget’s tight this quarter though. Could you do it for £3,000 instead of £4,200?
gilet’s draft, for your approval09:14

Thanks Sam, really glad the treatment landed. £4,200 covers the shoot day, the edit and two rounds of changes.

If £3,000 is the ceiling, we could keep the shoot and edit and drop to one round of changes, or keep everything and split payment 50/50. Which works better for you?

What it handles

The places freelancers quietly give money away. gilet covers all four, from first quote to money in your account.

A

Rate

Holds your fee, and offers a smaller scope at their budget so the client chooses.

B

Scope

Prices extra work or trades it for something else. No freebies by accident.

C

Terms

Asks for a deposit or shorter payment terms, and gives something small to get them.

D

Getting paid

Sends the invoice, takes payment and chases politely if it’s late.

How it works

Two minutes from you. Then it’s on.

01

Tell it your numbers

Your ideal fee, the lowest you’d go, and anything not to push on.

02

Copy gilet in

When a client brings up budget, add gilet to the thread. New clients or ones you’ve worked with for years.

03

Approve, then get paid

You approve each message. gilet handles the back-and-forth, the invoice and the payment.

Why it matters

A discount feels small in the moment. Then it becomes your rate with that client, and it never comes back.

Questions

Straight answers.

What does it cost?

You don’t pay unless we pull it off. When you get paid, gilet takes 10% of the deal, and nothing else. No monthly fee, no subscription, no card up front, and we cover the payment fees. If your client agrees £4,200, you receive £3,780. Cancel any time.

Can I bring my existing clients?

Yes. Copy gilet in with clients you already work with and it handles the rate, the terms and getting you paid, so you never have to have the money chat yourself. Same 10%, and you can stop any time.

Who will my client be dealing with?

A named person at our end who is accountable for your account. Nothing goes to your client until you’ve approved it.

Can gilet agree a deal without me?

No. Nothing is sent without your approval, gilet never goes below your lowest figure, and it can’t sign anything on your behalf. The final yes is yours.

What if I want to take a lower-paid job?

Then tell it. Sometimes the work matters more than the fee. gilet follows your call, and it’ll still tidy up the terms and get you paid on time.

What happens to my data? (UK GDPR)

Harmony Living Ltd handles your data under UK GDPR. gilet only reads the email threads you copy it into, and only uses them for your deals. We don’t sell your data. Email us at any time to see or delete it.

Is this legal advice?

No. gilet helps with commercial terms such as rate, scope and payment. It isn’t a law firm. If a contract clause comes up, it flags it to you.

Why “gilet”?

It’s the layer you put on and forget about. It keeps you covered while you get on with the work.
